OFFICIAL CIRCUIT |
This circuit embraces General San Martín Theatre, Colón Theatre and Nacional Cervantes Theatre, mainly. Classic plays and innovating versions of the universal theatre and lyric are constantly presented there. |

COMMERCIAL CIRCUIT |
Avenida Corrientes is the focus of this circuit where musical comedies, tango shows and local versions of worldwide plays are presented to the public. The most important ones are: Lola Membrives, Nacional, Astral, Complejo Teatral La Plaza, Metropolitan, Ópera. |

INDEPENDENT CIRCUIT |
This is also known as "teatro off" or alternative circuit and it is concentrated within the Abasto neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods of Palermo and San Telmo. Usually, vanguard plays are created by young people and presented in small spaces which are remodeled as theatre rooms, with an important public rotation, particularly young people. The most important rooms are: El camarín de las musas, Espacio Callejón, Abasto Social Club, Callejón de los deseos, La carbonera, Celcit, el Piccolino, Chacarerean Theatre, Centro Cultural de la Cooperación.
The Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires comprises five theaters run by the Culture Secretariat: San Martín, Alvear, Regio, de la Ribera and Sarmiento. Tickets may be purchased with Visa, Mastercard and Diners credit cards.
