The many sale stands surround the monument to the cowhand. (the one who did the old trade of leading the cattle on foot in long distances.) The walk has three areas: traditional handicrafts ("mates," hats, leather items, musical instruments, etc.), artistic festivals, and "gaucho" skills. This last one includes rides, breaking-in, and ring races.
There are also exhibitions, chats, traditional games for children and adults, folklore and tango dance classes, and regional food is sold. The fair is visited by 5,000 people each Sunday.
